Although, to be fair the dub sucks ass. Can I say that? Well, it does. Tenchi too. I dunno how a Manga can rock your face's ass so much, but have the show suck so bad. I blame Kermit, voice of Tenchi for that.
Anyway!
I, unfortunately, don't have anything but DVDs and no CD Burner, although that may change in the near future, so Rod-a-billy, I may be able to help you out some.

But! Until then, I -can- reccomend some stuff that may (or may not) be found in your friendly neighborhood Blockbuster.

Harlock Saga: You love Yamato/Star Blazers, right? Then give this puppy a rent! It's the Wagner Opera "Ring of the Nibleung" told as a Captain Harlock story! It's a little high concept, but I like it.

Macross Plus: Kick ASS mecha designs and airbattles and a complex love story with excellent music. All staples of the Macross serieseseseses...*bang*

Phantom Quest Corps. : Light, fluffy, lots of fan service, good dub, and fun fun fun. Supernatural investigations handled by a corporation run by an irresponsible redhead run afoul of Dracula, an organ-stealing doctor and other sinister plots...as well as her plummeting budget!

Trigun: I can't reccomend this series enough. Get the set from Dare, because MAN! It rocks hardcore. The first few episodes are hysterical, but it comes out of nowhere with a killer plot and character development that'll leave you enthralled. It's not as relentlessly bleak as Bebop, but it's at least as deep. (I think it's the better series because it doesn't mess with you as much.)

And starting up on February 23 is Gundam 0083. Give that one a try, it's more Action packed and has some kick ass mecha designs that're sure to rock your face's ass. (tm.)
