It takes a lot for me to be excited about a Disney movie (the only one that comes to mind is Atlantis) but when I started reading up about Treasure Planet it just started sounding better and better. So excited that I actually emailed Julius Marx about it for a bit of an insiders impression. Basicly it's a futuristic, space version of Treasure Island. I've been told that it's going to cause even more of an uproar with anime crowds than Atlantis did (though I don't know how since it's based on a novel). I have a hunch that it's going to draw some similarities with Outlaw Star but that's just unsupported speculation.
