Subject: The Tumulchious world of Japanese Wrestling has just gotten worse

It was just announced that Naoto Morishita, President of DSE and PRIDE, was found dead in his hotel room after an apperent Scuicide. This comes hours after he held a press conference saying that this was going to be PRIDE's best year yet.

This is the latest in a long line of Nightmarish situations for the Japanese Wrestling Scene in the last few years. Here is some of those events.

1/99- All Japan Founder and Legend Shohei Baba dies of Stomach Cancer. This throws the federation into a struggle with Baba's widow on one side and Kenji Muto (the Great Muta) on the other. Then in 9/02 Muto is announced as the new pres and Baba steps aside

2/00- All Japan is once again Rocked when long time Promoter Mitsuharu Misawa is either forced out or Quits the federation (due to Baba's widow) and as a result takes a majority of the Talent with him to Create Pro Wrestling NOAH. Saving there ass from Armegeddon, All Japan recovers.

10/01- FMW Superstar Hayabusa breaks his neck on a live PPV. This is Concidered a major blow to the Federation who at that point had switched from "Deathmatch" style to Sports Entertainment style when founder Atsushi Onita leaves to take a place in Goverment.

2/02- After losing money tits over tailbone, FMW closes down operations

5/02-Shouichi Arai, the person who took over for Onita in FMW is found Dead from Scuicide. It is later revealed he had dealings with the Yakuza for money to help FMW.

2000-2002- Japanese Wrestling fans start making a shift towards "Shoot" (UFC style) Federations in Droves. While "mixed" feds (Those whitch produced Shoot like predetermined matches) had been around for years, they really start becoming prevalent in this period with K-1 and PRIDE being the major frontrunners. This sees "traditional" pro Wrestlers stepping into legit and non legit Shoot matches and shoot Fighters stepping into Pro Wrestling matches

late 2002 - Kazuyoshi Ishii, president of K1 and also Contributer to PRIDE, New Japan, and All Japan, is busted for Tax Offenses. Concidered to "Vince Mcmahon of Japan", this incident is concidered a nightmare for Japanese Wrestling since once a person has been charged with such offenses, many Japanese companies would not do business with him anymore.

12/02- The Japanese Wrestler of the Year awards are Anounced and in a real shocker the winner is Bob Sapp. This Former WCW power Plant Flunky not only becomes the first non asian to win the award, but also is astonding since he only Wrestled one actuall Pro Wrestling Match (He is a HUGE shoot Fighting star and pop Culture fad in Japan right now)

Now with this Latest bit, an already shooken up Japanese Wrestling world is shaken up even more.

Why am I posting this? Sure Beats Talking about Criple H!
