Subject: Wanders

Silently walking the narrow corridors of the dreary castle, Ravea held a book in her hand. It was one she had read many times before, and had taken it from the Royal library, but she was now intending on putting it back. After she had put it back and had begun looking for a new book to memorize, as many times as she seemed to read these books, a loud, booming voice came from the library's double doors.
"Can I help you?" the male voice asked demandingly.
Ravea turned around slowly and put her hands above her head, sarcastically.
"What are you going to do about me in the library?" she asked, simply. Today was not one of those days to mess with her.
"Oh, Ravea, I didn't notice it was you. I haven't seen you around here for weeks, maybe months."
"Well, I don't see anyone for weeks, or months. I don't see anyone at all while I lock myself in my chamber."
The guard looked somewhat embarassed. He bowed and walked along the corridor silently as she had done, but his job was to look for any intruders or any sign of the young prince who had come up missing. This, of course, was "fresh-off-the-presses" news for Ravea, although it had been presently a week or so since the prince's disappearance.
Ravea shrugged at the guard, who had been very surprised to see her, and went back down the corridor, silently, and to her chamber.
