He could easily get some later, and right now he wasn't looking for a comfortable bed to sleep in. The only way to avoid nightmares was not to sleep, but the next best way was to sleep so lightly it could hardly be called sleeping, and the best way to do that was in a cold room or in an uncomfortable position. Ketan lay down on the cold floor made of earth, careful not to hurt his shoulder, but he was too tired. He fell into deep sleep after only a short fight, and the uneasy moves caused by hunting nightmares kept him warm through the night.
