March on the Vice Presidential Debates for LGBT issues!

On Tuesday, October 5, 2004, the Vice Presidential Debates will be held at Case Western Reserve University at 9 PM. Because we deserve more than "anything but Bush," we are having a rally centered on the theme of "Don't Just Vote: Resist!" and demanding substantial change of policies, and not just of our representatives. There are three feeder marches, converging into a rally at Euclid Avenue and Adelbert on Case's campus. The feeder marches are themed, as well, being: Anti-War/Anti-Imperialist, the "We're #1 March" (as in Cleveland being #1 in poverty and child poverty, and #3 in segretation, etc.), and last, The Gender Bloc.

The Gender Bloc is a march for LGBT Rights, Women's Rights, and Reproductive Rights. Considering that the Bush administration is obviously anti-lgbt, and that Kerry is not in support of gay marriage, nor that LGBT issues have been enough of a centerpiece in anyone's campaign, it is so important that we stand up for these issues and make sure that they are adequately addressed.
