War is something that should only be considered as a last resort, not a first choice, when all other channels have bee exhausted or are proved negative. I am of the belief that hitting Iraq would not make one iota of difference to the probability that Britain, Israel or US could be recipients of next attack as it is most probable that the required materials are out of Iraq and in the hands of sympathisers outside the country. I think that Saddam would like the satisfaction of causing mayhem without being seen as the direct cause. The strange thing is that this whole affair originally came about as the result of Saddam Hussein's wish to eradicate the opposing sect of Muslims in the surrounding regions, Iran mainly. How much suffering has been caused by Man's use of religions as a tool for wielding power in general, from the crusades onwards?
