First of all I would like to begin by saying that I KNOW WHAT M.E.Ch.a. means and what it should stand for yet this year it has turned into complete debauchery. M.E.Ch.A. is an organization which encompasses every individual in order to serve a greater purpose. Perhaps people believe what was said at the elections meeting was unconstitutional but if you truly read the M.E.Ch.A. constitution, you will see the countless violations this current group has commited. I have been in M.E.Ch.A. for various years, way before Mt. SAC and never have I encountered a groups which has deviated as much from what M.E.Ch.A. truly is. I believe nobody has the right to remove any M.E.Chista from this organization, that is against the constitution. Therefore if you are now quoting the constitution, it should also be brought up that dismissal of a member only occurs before the entire organization with the person in question present. It is unfortunate that individuals whom have joined this organization have tried to run with it and be very inclusive. M.E.Ch.A. is known to be a great organization here on this campus yet it was not until this year that such great internal problems have arisen. Perhaps before we are ready to point fingers, we SHOULD evaluate ourselves. I know I have contributed much to this organization this year but I don't need to stand in the front, I don't need the praise, I do it because I believe in M.E.Ch.A. as an organization. To me it is not about friendship, it is about a cause.
