I agree, Nirvana is my favorite band, and has been for a long time, I think Kurt killed himself because he was so depressed, but what caused his depression? I think that was obvious, the shame in having the In Utero tour cancelled, because he had a drug overdose, his stomach problems, maybe because Courtney threatened to divorce him if he didn't get sober and go to rehab, maybe his band members were mad at him because they only got 25% of the royalties, possibly the shame in being a bad father, or bad influence, not wanting to be such a big star, and of course, many of his songs give hints to his death not to mention his suicide note, which said his daughter Francis would be better without him, and that he wasn't happy with performing and being such a big star, his lyrics tell a lot for example,
"Monkey see monkey do, I'd rather be dead then cool" When I see that line, I see Kurt talking about how cool people are so stupid, like monkeys, and he would rather be dead then be one of those retarded monkeys, because those monkeys are the sell out big pop stars, and I can see why he wouldn't want to be one of those idiots, Kurt was beginning to become a huge sell out pop star in his mind, and he wanted to end it,
He was never a sell out pop star to me, because his music and lyrics came from his heart and not from what he thought would sell lots of albums. I don't know the final thing that make Kurt snap, but he obviously thought about committing suicide before, and he felt lower then he ever felt before which is why he finally snapped. That's just my opinion, I don't care if you want to point out my mistakes.
