The Queen Daphne, Teen Queen and Junior Pageant will be held on Saturday, August 15th at 6:00 p.m. at Camp Kidd Park which is about 6 miles north of Parsons. This pageant is open to any young women in WV as follows: Queen Daphne - 16-21, Teen Queen - 13-15 and Junior - 10-12 years of age. The winners will reign over the Tucker County Fair on August 25-29.
The winner for Queen Daphne will have the opportunity to represent the Tucker County Fair at the WV Fairs & Festivals Pageant next January 2016. Her entry fee and room will be provided for by the fair. She will also receive a $500 scholarship, crown, sash and flowers, etc. The teen winner will receive $100, crown, sash and flowers and the junior winner will receive $50, crown, sash and flowers. Everyone who enters will receive something for entering.
