The Miss Mason County Paws & Claws Pageant is a fundraiser pageant to support the Mason County Animal Shelter in Point Pleasant, WV. All proceeds will be used toward the medical needs of rescued animals in the shelter.

The Federation of Human Organizations estimates that nearly 16 percent of all pets in West Virginia will end up in an animal shelter, compared to six percent of pets nationwide. By simply helping to fund our local shelter we can get those animals adopted to their forever homes.

This pageant makes it possible to raise money for a great cause while providing yet another opportunity for girls and women to take part in a fun filled day and have a chance at the title of Miss Paws & Claws!

Categories are as follows:
Wee - 2 to 3 years
Tiny - 4 to 5 years
Little - 6 to 7 years
Young - 8 to 9 years
Junior - 10 to 12 years
Teen Miss - 13 to 15 years
Miss - 16 to 20 (never married or pregnant)
Ms. - 21+ (unmarried w/ or w/o children)
Mrs. - 21+ (must be married)

Where? The WV State Farm Museum
When? October 10th, 2015

9 Divisional Queens (Miss Paws and Claws Queen)
1 Miss Paws of Hope Queen
1 Miss Paws of Hope Princess
Runner up awards in each category
Miss Photogenic awards in each category
