Applications are being accepted for the 2015 WV Oil and Gas Festival Queen's Pageant which will be held Saturday, July 11 at 7 p.m. at the Sistersville Elementary School. The pageant is open state-wide. The Queen will receive $1,800 cash, all expenses paid to the 2016 West Virginia Association of Fairs and Festivals Pageant, a great gift basket and other prizes. In addition, the Queen may choose to participate in the upcoming Miss West Virginia USA pageant. Sanders and Associates will pay $200 and the West Virginia Oil and Gas Festival will pay $300 towards the entry fee for the Miss West Virginia USA Teen or Queen pageant.

Runners-up will receive CASH, a plaque, and flowers. Miss Congeniality and Miss Photogenic will each receive a plaque.

Contestants will appear in interview and evening gown attire.

DEADLINE for receiving applications and a photo (any size black and white or color) is postmark by midnight Wednesday, July 1, 2015.

The Queen is required to attend the WV Oil and Gas Festival on Saturday, September 19, 2015, for events such as the WV Oil and Gas Man of the Year Luncheon and the Grand Oil and Gas Parade when she will receive her $1,800 cash prize.
