The unedited version of the Telegram-Gazette game story, plus more coverage from the game is up on Hoop Time, with a lot of good PL stuff expected in the morning ... esp. expecting to have some real good BU links.

thanks for all the coverage you are providing us. while there has been some wonderful coverage from the mainstream media recently due to the Pitt game, the coverage you provide is exceptional. this is a great ride we've been on recently, and your commentary adds to the enjoyment. okay, enough sucking up, but i do what is necessary to keep getting my fix.

any comments on the game atmosphere against HC. big crowd, but students on break. any chance we can recapture the old Davis atmosphere?

Mastro had his best statistical game. i suspect he will continue to get more minutes (15 - 20 per game) from here on out and will also start to get more scoring opportunities on the offensive end. what do others think?

i realize no one has seen much of HC so far, but how would you say their frosh stack up against ours at this point?

Ken -- I am going to borrow your questions for a "mailbag" piece Saturday morning. Hope that is OK.

Good questions all.

no problem using the questions on your blog. your response actually triggered another question (for anyone), does Bucknell still have a JV squad? i assume so, but with scholarships more of the frosh have been ready to play varsity right away. this year, Thomas and Morrison could get valuable game experience on the JV squad. presumably this is happening. if so, has anyone seen them play? know their schedule/results?

No more jayvees at BU. Gone to help with gender equity issues. They actually started a women's jayvee team (not sure what year, I was only aware of it last season), but that has been discontinued, too.
