Subject: Real working backup ADI. Possible in FS2K?

Hi!

Is it possible to make a real backup ADI for a FS2K panel? (This means an ADI which doesn't stop working when the main ADI stops due to a failure).

As far as I could investigate, it seems that gauges are programmed to respond to a failure with a specific action, as freeze for instance. But is it possible to tell to an ADI to do nothing at all when it finds a failure condition?

If that is possible, I think someone should have think this before (it is simply impossible I am the first who noticed this...)... now... Is it? Anybody knows of any already done?

As a matter of fact, this issue is really bothering. I hate when vaccum failure spoils everything... nothing works, and always remind Micro$oft "As real as it gets..." (quite "Unreal as they got..." should have been).

Thank you very much!

Eugenio.
