Subject: another delegate Author: carol peters [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 17:00:50 04/21/02 Sun hi, my name is carol peters and i would like to represent the alabama delegation at the state and national conventions. i feel that my background would be an asset to the union. 1.) rural carrier for 4+years 2.) rca for 6 years 3.) steward for 3 years 4.) postmaster relief( yes i was on the other side too. ) 13 years 5.) helped organize and host the huntsville convention with no money,no help but, alot of hassle from the union. 6.) state delegate for 6 years. 7.) have introduced amendments to the convention for a set bedget for the yearly conventio ( so there would be some accountability) and to appoint an assistant female state steward for women carriers so women would have the option of talking to a woman if they feel more secure with a woman steward.
