Hey Yo. I thought Kirkoid died of a brain tumor.

Gareth, I take slight offence to your comment about it taking someone dying to make people watch wrestling. I agree that it isn't as popular anymore, but a lot of people (wrestling, ex-wrestling and a few non-wrestling fans) appreciated what he did, and watching the show was just a small way of paying their respects.

I personally thought the whole tribute shows wreaked of 'sports entertainment' though, almost too pro-wrestling. I know it is sports entertainment, but Eddies life was a lot more than that. In real life he had been bought completely immersed in the wrestling industry, but it was his success over drug addiction, and returning to become ONE OF THE BEST WRESTLERS EVER that I really respect. Beating drug addiction, is respectful in itself. Beating drug addiction and becoming one of the best at what you do, be it ballet or quantum physics, is even more respectful. Beating drug addiction and becoming one of the best ever at wrestling is just amazing. For those who disagree watch Louis Theroux's WCW Powerplant episode, Beyond the Mat, and 101 reasons not to become a pro wrestler in that order.
