Subject: Obviously an Irritation for teachers at the King's School

I was reading some of the archived pages on this website recently, some going back as far as 2002. I noticed that in terms of content, not too much has changed, there continue to be lots and lots of references to the King's School, which can be a bit unhealthy, none of us can go back there, and it's best to let go sometimes.
One thing I did notice however that might be of some interest to anyone who went there was that the unofficial king's school rumours website, run a few years ago by people who were still at the school at the time, has apparently been bought by the IT dept. as part of an agreement to silence it, due to various (accurate or at least close to the bone) revelations about members of staff.
I knew from finchy's updates at the time that it had been shut, but I idn't know any money had changed hands. have a look, I can't remember the address, but it's in the bowels of this site somewhere, I'm sure Garteh can dig it out.
So is this cencorship? or an example of how the internet can sometimes be damaging enough for authority to intervene.
I'll turn the topic over to our Webmaster, who, being both a Bill Hicks fan but also someone who works within 'cyberspace' and knows the risks thereof, should have some interesting views...
