It's always a pleasure to watch any sport played well, especially if you play it yourself and can appreciate some of the subtler nuances of the game. I myself have never been a cricket player, but have been watching bits of the N-power test every now and then; fantastic play from both sides, I've been told- I wouldn't really know.
Which is why it's always amusing to have the odd distraction from the game itself: for instance, a streaker on the pitch or an elderly gent being creamed in the forhead with a fast moving cricket ball.
Can any of you sports fans out there remember any similar occurences in any sport when play has been disrupted by an eccentric performance or unfortunate accident?
