Subject: Grantham U-17 and running between the wickets

Just for the record, the fabled run out incident for grantham U-17 whilst Mr Finch and I were batting, was in fact no fault of my own. If Gaz had infact trusted my call, as the ball had gone in front of square to wide midoff and I was running to the "danger end", we would have both made it home safely. I have always been a positive runner between the wickets, putting pressure on the fielders and if Gareth had not ran five yards then said no and turned back, leaving me stranded half way down, this issue would never had arrisen, and I would have gone on to complete my third 30 not out of the season. Still, whats done is done, and look who is playing in Granthams first team now (that 8 not out was off two balls I will have u all know)! I do regret however in the heat of the moment, walking off the pitch giving gareth the wanker sign. I embarrassed myself and my club, I am truely sorry. I also apologise to the patio chair in the changing room for smashing one of its legs off with my bat in fury. I hope u can see my point of view on this gaz and we can forget the whole incident. please come back and play for town next year, Mark Bates just is not as funny with out u there to laugh at him with me, whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo?
