Hey, Terry. I like these results better than the last time I saw you at a Tarpon Playoff game up in St Pete in 1997!! Here is a message our 1970 team sent to this year's great squad - a bunch of us signed it including Burton Lawless.

PRIDE GETS THINGS DONE!

In the 76 years that Charlotte High has been in existence only 3 teams have advanced in the State Playoffs. You 2002 Tarpons have entered an elite group. Our 1970 team finally established we could compete with the best teams in the state. The 1998 team willed themselves to carry their dream forward - they made all Tarpons proud. Now it is in your hands to take Tarpon Football to the top.

As a team you�ve watched your brothers go down, and you stepped it up.

As a team you have battled from behind and would not be denied.

As a team you fought back the best your opponent had to offer as the clock ticked down.

As a team you�ve showed tenacity, but also poise and class when needed.
