Has anyone seen the movie 'Devour'?
Through imdb.com I learnt that RS had a role in that movie, so when it came out in the local video rental shop I just had to see it. The fact it was supposed to be horror was a big pro.
Big dissappointment! Total RS screentime about five minutes or even less and the rest of the movie was just total bullocks. It sucked, big time!
The only scenes worthwhile to watch were in fact the few scenes with RS in it. He seemed very sincere in his role as uncle Ross, even though the comforting shoulder pinch was a great detail the first time, it got over the top the fourth or the fifth time.
There was little to no suspense save the very few 'shocking' moments, which were -to be honost- not that shocking.
And why do movie makers seem to believe that in order to make a succesful horror movie you need to involve Satan in it? I mean, there are so many great scary movies not involving Satan or his minions (Final Destination for example). There were supposed to be a few great monster scenes; come on, an evil looking horsy broad from hell? And that Kater character turning in some skinned alive doggy thingy? Even RS death was .... well, let's just say that a couple of branches through his head was more comical looking than scary looking.
I'm really sorry to completely thrash a movie with RS in it, but to be honost, I was still mild in the review. It's really that bad.
I loved him way better in 5ive days to midnight, how ever short his part was in that movie.

Other opinions, anyone?

Alie
