Magic beach, near Kefalos, is fab, and you can either take a (paid) sunbed, or just lie on the beach. You can walk for miles towards the 'Blue Lagoon' all inclusive resort, and be nude the whole time.

Kefalos itself is a very 'english' place, and not very beautiful or picturesque, but there are tavernas a plenty. The upper village is lovely, but one hell of a climb! You definiftely need a car if you stay there.

Very well kept, and the owners are fab!

and our favourite taverna (for Greek food) is Kampos, just off the main road, (it is quite well hidden, so keep your eyes open for it). Gets full of locals, and we saw a number of greek families eating there, so that recommends it too.
