+farmer's wives would sew bits of fabric together to form a giant doll of sorts, usually feed sacks to serve as the farmer's skin and a worn-out pair of suspenders and a hat to complete the effect of a man watching the fields. meant to scare away the crows so they wouldn't eat the crops and ruin the farmer. ah, the crow. an ever-present symbol of darkness. brackish feathers given a metallic sheen by the sun, filthy little birds. beady eyes staring, looking like a heartless monster. and a what they call a 'scarecrow' to scare them away. this thing must be a frightening sight indeed, if it strikes fear in such creatures as the crow. oh look, here comes one now...+

+notorious monstrosity steps forth from the shadows, they rush away in fear of being smitten should she not wish their presence any longer. the word 'monstrosity' may not come to mind on a simple glance, for indeed the gently sloping angles of her frame are far from horrendous. arabian blood shows in her dished profile, yet her form holds too much power to be of pure descent.
