Slanted vivid green eyes searched the new area, her new home. Padded paws torn from the length that the femora had traveled in less then twenty-four hours. Curved fangs were evident, before Shetan's knees buckled and she collapsed from obvious exhaustan, shewas awake, but slowly he black eyelids fell over her green optics, and lithe canine fell into a deep slumber, only to awaken when well rested, or bothered.

It was a younger wolf, with a lean, thin body. Her ribs could be seen through her gleaming, silver coat. Her eyes, an auburnish color, glared at the fellow she-wolf, and through her ash-colored lips came a growl of warning. She sat down a few yards away, watching, waiting..

A hesitance was made before she-devil rose to her torn paws. Ashen lips curled back somewhat in a vicious warning, watched her fellow canine, and she halted her threats, notiving that this wolf was just as weak and feeble as she was at the moment. Maybe, just maybe, the two could form an alliance. A catious approach is made, and Shetan no longer showed signs of attack, but now out of friendliness and curiosity.

She stood, her head low, she growled momentarily in defence. There were cuts on her body that explained she hasn't met many friendly wolves along the way here, and she expected this new stranger to be just as fierce. The hair upon her back stood on end, but she made no aggressive gestures, watching fellow traveler carefully.

Circling her fellow wolf closely, she snarled gently in response to the Oshiba's defensive growl, but still no attack was made. Halting, the wolf raised her head, sniffing the air gently, trying to sense if this wolf meant her any harm, finally she was satisfied that this female was not a foe. She spoke gently, her voice low, almost inaudible. I mean you no harm, I swear by it. Curving her hindlegs, she sat upstraight.

She slowly lowered herself to the ground, then it was realized the she-wolf was almost too weak to stand. She watched the so-called peaceful wolf before her, but said nothing for a long pause. Her ears then swiveled so they were angled towards the canine, she asked in an amazingly soft voice that didn't match her gestures at all, "Where are you from, traveler?"

Shetan thought momenterily, unsure if she should tell her, but she decided that she should, after all the opposing wolf was weak and tired, and nethier were up for a battle at that time. I,Shetan, am from Tiklia, a small island far from here. A brief glance was made to her fellow canine. And your name?

She slowly shifted into a sitting position and explained, "I am Oshiba. I come from far away as well, foreign lands in the east. I dwelled in the Valleys of China for a long time, and that is why I came here.. it reminds me of home.." She sighed, seeing the familiar trees, the similar foliage.
