She lays down a rabbit and nudges it in. She hears Zelria tearing it apart.

The wolf stands up and walks out of the den and shakes. Her once fine black coat is now dusty. She walks in a circle then crawls back in. The raven watches seriously. She flies to a protruding rock above the entrance and perches there. She watches for any danger.

They walk out. The pup sees a butterfly and reaches up into the air, trying to catch it. She begins to chase it, leaping and pouncing happily and curiously. The happy growls kiss the grass and sky softly. The mother lays down and watches contently, her eyes searching for Almera.

She follows an old path through the territories. To Mt. Encahntment she goes.
