We're here - I just got back from a week away.

Quick pick meals:

Salads from any of those new you-choose-we-toss places, tell them to GO EASY on the dressing, or get one of the non-fat dressings.

A SMALL hamburger, SMALL fries, and a Diet Coke (if you're desperate)

Taco Bell has low-fat options, keep your portion size down though.

I love Subway - they have six sandwich options that are low in fat and in calories, and they have Baked Lays.

Soup, as long as it's not a cream base, and it's good because you can throw a can in your bag and heat it up in any microwave. There are also soups that DO have a a cream base but are not that high in fat or calories, and they are certainly yummy and good in the wintertime. I also sometimes make my own soups from pureed veggies (carrot potato is a good one), freeze individual servings in baggies, and throw one of those in my bag for later in the day (uh, warning, put it in a tupperware container before you throw it in your bag with your pencils and nail file)

clara
