WEll, I thought I'd give an experience I had with the trinity doctrine. After I had been in the truth about a year, my mother finally figured out that we were not trinitarians. In a rather heated discussion with my father, he handed the phone to her (he had heard enough) and my mother came on, sobbing, hyperventalating;

'b-b-but you-you-you-you d-d-don't (gasp, huge intake of air) believe in the TRINITY! WAAAAAAHHHAAAAAHH MY SON IS IN A CULT THEY'RE GOING TO MOLEST YOUR CHILDREN (hold on mom, I'm not Catholic) AND YOU'RE GOING TO BURN IN HELL FOREVER BECAUSE YOU DON'T BELEIVE IN THE TRINITY!

Needless to say, we haven't discussed that doctrine in the last 5 years. The trinity appears to be one of two positions that will bring persecution upon the church (this is out of my opinion pocket) and the other one, I think, will be Israel.
