The officers of the organization must ALWAYS remember: The funds in the PTA treasury do not belong to the committee--the funds belong to the entire membership -- it is THEIR decisions that matter. The executive committe/board members just happen to be the gate-keepers for the year.
No answers yet from the PTA about exact amounts of funds raised and Escrip, how much we spent on different activities through the year, and who voted on these issues.
Doesn't it seem fishy that the signs promoting this website are still being taken down? If there was nothing to hide, no one would feel threatened by the questions we are asking. Rest assured, we will keep asking these questions and distribute this information to all parents. It's your right to know, and your right to be empowered to make positive changes at your child's school.
