You can send sunscreen in with your child and they can apply it themselves before P.E. time. Our concern is how many 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders will remember to do this. The option is there, however. Agreed, we need to use the P.E. room. There is no excuse to have these kids outside in June through September. Will the school district pay for skin cancer treatments 10 years down the road?
