bay stallion trots into lands for which he calls home.
angered snort escapes nares and he walks up to a clear stream.
he stares at his reflection a moment before lowering
his neck and taking a sip.
he shivers lightly in the falling snow and looks up
toward the mountains were his mate resided now.
he shakes his head, yet mourning thoughts continoue
to pester him.
he walks under a large, leafless oak tree and watched
the snow outside the make-shift housing,
his eyes longinly watching the mountians that seperated
him from his beloved.
he sighed and shook the snow from his coat as he
waited out the snow.
