worriedly the stallion searches around them, amber pools searching desperatly. finally he sees the large oak tree he had taken as refuge when Sure Fire had still owned these lands. he gives the mare a nudge, showing her the large tree where hardly any snow had fallen under. he trotted towards it, watching the mare to make sure she did not fall behind. once under the tree he shakes the loose snow from his long raven tail and mane. he watches he snow falling outside the old tree, watching for wolves and other preditors, not to mention new-comers who might need selter from the blistering winds and blinding snow.
