The attack on the castle was surely going down in the history books. All the royal guards had either been killed or knocked unconcious to the extent where the attackers could get past easliy. The king had been killed not too long before the attack had occured, about an hour, and when the attack happened, the royal family tried their hardest to get away from the rampage.

The two princesses had been kidnapped, although one would be killed later, and one held hostage for the leader of the rebeler's pleasure, and the queen would be executed also, but this was going to be in the center of the shopping district in the town square. (All people who worked in the shopping district, or who even dared go into the shopping district did not wear the mark.)

Wizards from all over Cala Armon were frantic. The Prophecy of the Second Rebel had occured. It was time for them to find the eight people who bore the mark that fit the descriptions that the ancient prophets had written five hundred years ago when the First Rebel had taken place. They had forseen this attack and the eight that bore the mark were the only people who could stop the murder of the heir to the throne (Princess Venetia) and to stop the Third Rebel all together.

And this was the beginning of their story.
