Subject: Steve Clark Author: Amanda [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 11:08:03 10/28/04 Thu I don't remember Def Leppard real well in the Steve Clark days other than Hysteria when it was a huge success. But looking back on old footage of the band and listening to everything through Hysteria, I realize the Def Leppard had something special with Steve. He was someone who really loved what he was doing and it showed. The man had some real talant. It was an honor and a privilage for us to be entertained by Steve. At times, I do wish that he would have been alive a bit longer. There's so much more he could have accomplished. And the ultimate tribute to Steve was when they finished recording and released Adrenalize. Most bands would have given up, but not Def Leppard. And to still continue to this day with the addition of Vivian Campbell, is something amazing. Stephen Maynard Clark will always be missed. And may he continue to be an inspiration to begining guitarist everywhere as something to strive for musically. May your memory live on Steve. We will never forget you.
