*His head jerked involuntarily at the invasion of new sights and unfamiliar horses. Hesitantly, he stepped forward, eyes straining to catch sight of anyone familiar, anyone looking to be his mother.* Hewwo? Does anyone want to be my mommy? *he moaned, close to tears. Angry tears spilled from his eyes, thinking that no one wanted him, as he dropped his once proud head. His teeth gritted, he searched for a bush in which to hide in as he gave himself into the pain. Finding a suitable hiding place, he curled up beneath it, nose tucked under his foreleg. Gripped by bitterness, lonliness, and raw pain, he cried himself to sleep.*
