Subject: Children at Rendang??

Hi , I am keen to visit rendang in Mar next year. Love Snorkelling but wonder if the place is suitable for a 2 year old child. Which resort will be able to provide some childcare/ Babysit service when we are out snorkelling.Thank you.

It depends... if your 2 year old loves the water and isn't afraid of it, then he/she should be able to enjoy playing in the sea off the beach. You can also put your child in those ring-type floats and push him/her around as you snorkel (but make sure he/she is also wearing arm floats or those Starfish inflatable vests for kids, just in case he/she slips out of the ring float).

I don't remember any resort having child care/babysitting services. If there is, it's likely to be in the bigger resorts like Berjaya.

Thank Alex, he loves water (when in swimming pool) but cannot say the same for sea. so decide not to bring him along although I really want to. Will be visiting Redang in Mar as plan and have booked Redang Beach Resort. Visit with a couple of friends and we are really looking forward to it.
