Subject: Transport from SG to KT
Hi, would like to ask about transport from SG to KT. Being poor people, my friends and I have decided to make the trip to Larkin bus station to get cheaper tickets. Now, is it possible to purchase the bus tickets before hand (i.e a few weeks b4 departure)? Because I'm afraid of going there and the tickets are already sold out on my day of departure! How about buying tickets from KT to sg? is it safe to purchase them on the spot? Leaving on 26-29may. Thanks a million!

hi, just came back from perhentian and redang. yes it is possible to buy tickets in advance for both ways although not all operators sell the return sector. Its much cheaper as its about same price as sin but in RM.
we used transional and was able to get both way. however, the tickets are only for KT to Larkin only. They do not sell to SIn. which is anyway not a problem cos you can just take a bus from larkin to sin.

Thanks alot! the thing is I have already purchased tickets for both ways and my return coach to SG leaves at 9am. But the earliest ferry leaving Laguna is at 8 am!! Argghh. Now I'm in a fix. Does anyone here have any advice for me without wasting my already bought tickets? :~(

One can charter a boat but that would cost you. If there are many in your group, then it could be worth a try to find out the cost, rather than have your return cost blown away like that.
Otherwise, put up as many post in all the forum website related to travel to Terengganu, attempt to sell your tickets before the date come up. Go with a friend when a deal is agreed with the buyer.
If all fails, don't fret, try to be happy. It pays to learn sometimes. Don't I know it.
