Try Laguna if you want some comfort, a swim pool, jacuzzi. Otherwise, i heard Redang Beach is ok.

We did not stay there but saw the housing units, pretty modern. Not the usual chalet constructs that we so used to seeing from the other resorts.

We did have our dinner there twice this May. There is a beer garden and Redang Beach resort, to us, has the best gift souvenir shop. It also has a mini-mart like a 7-11 convenient store, ice-cream palor, internet kiosk, and indoor air-conditioned resturant. Pretty spruced up since our first visit to Redang in 2002 (we stayed at Coral Island Beach Resort - wooden chalets).

Hope this helps,
tango :)
