Yes you can snorkle with powered googles but you'll have to use a nose plug and those silicone snorkle holders instead of the hard plastic ones.

But it is much much better if you can get yourself one of those powered mask at a good dive store. The lenses will cost you around RM90+ and the mask doesn't have to be expensive. I myself uses a RM60 mask with the corrective lenses and it will last you almost a lifetime with good care. (RM60+RM90). I have met divers with equipments older than Redang have been a resort island and they still worked fine.

Usually the resorts will have powered mask for rental (+-RM20) so all you have to do is just ask.

There are a couple of diveshops in KL that sells those powered mask. One is at the old Yow Chuan Plaza opposite Ampang Park (I dont know what it's called now.) The shop is right above 7-11. There is 3 in Ampang (that i know of). 1 at Jalan Memanda 9, 1 next to Ampang Point (3 doors away from Perodua) and the other one i forgot. Same floor as the cinema at Mid-Valley there is one. And the place i worked b4, Sealantis at One Utama. U should be able to find one that will fit you at any one of those shops.
