Subject: Plan a Redang Trip in 2 weeks. Possible?

Hi all,
Initially, I intended to visit Redang on 19th Aug but just to realise it coincides with the malaysian's school holidays. :(

So now, I'm planning to bring forward the trip to 19th July instead, which is about 2 weeks from now.

Since this is kind of rush and I'm on a budget, I'm uncertain about the room availability.

Based on your experiences, do u think it's still possible to get a room now? (Redang Reef, Lagoon or Bay resorts) Thanks!!

I've just sent an email to PingAnchorage and will call them up tomorrow once they are opened.

Besides the room issue, I've also been thinking about the coach issue as well. Since i'm staying near the northern part of sg, I think it should more convenient for me to travel up to larkin to take the coach. But i'm unsure about the journey from JB checkpoint to Larkin.

Can someone advise me the travelling time from checkpoint to Larkin too? Thanks again!~

I've tried calling transnational up for the ticket, but no one answered. Is it possible to get larkin-KT in singapore? if not, where can i get them in JB near checkpoint? I'm a little worried (paranoid?) that I can't get the bus tickets in time.

haha, think i've posted too many questions. it must be due to my anxiety to visit the island.

I really hope to visit redang soon so, any replies/tips will be very much appreciated! Thank u!

I think most of the resorts is still available on the 19th July 2005.

Dun worry about the transportation, the KT to Singapore bus tickets can be arranged in advance.
