Subject: just back..

just back from redang. the place is still very nice, blue waters, blue skies...but it's really crowded..

stayed at redang holiday in the villa with a great sea view, the food was decent, but the restaurant sits nicely on the rocks..

went snorkeling everyday, saw quite a few stuff...there were a bunch of black tip sharks just off the housereefs at redang beach, sting rays off housereefs at redang holidays, a huge moray eel at marine park, couple of turtles at tok kung...and found lotsa nemo..:)

thanks to tango for the driving tips...
we departed from sg 2nd link at around 6.30am, arrived KT at about 2.40pm, caught the 3pm ferry in, sipping our welcome drink by 5pm..:)

Well, thanks to the owner of this forum and his Redang website. I got the direction right off the "getting there - by car" page. The rest of the details were from the actual drive itself.

BTW, where is Tok Kung? Have not heard of it. Sounds like fun :)

heh...yeah :) but the details from the actual drive helped set my expectations..

Tok Kung is slightly north west of the berjaya beach...there's a beach where the turtles will lay the eggs, which we can't set foot on. so we just snorkeled in the bay area... pretty deep, but saw quite a few turtles..:)
