Is there any mobile phone signal on Redang?
ie Can i make / receive calls while i'm there?

I stayed at the Coral Redang and in that area I was completely unable to get a signal. Good thing too! No sound of mobile phones ringing anywhere!

At Redang Reef you will be able to get a decent signal. At Redang Reef, get a clear line of sight to the mainland near the water's edge. Signal strength is just about 100 percent.
