i've been to lucky plaza las weekend to chk out the pxs.. here's wat i saw:

tubes alone cld set u back as much as $40. mask alone there're some which costs >$50. most of the masks are without pxs, and i dare not ask oso. they oso sell sets (mask+tube) and it's ard $80.

mayb mus bargain wif them.. but they don look frenly leh. oh mayb they smell dat i'm a poor mouse so i kena ignored. hahaa..

dat's roughly the px range u're looking at.

Hey, it's Lucky Plaza, not a dept store. You definitely need to bargain there :)

Anyway, expect to pay >$35 for a reasonably good mask (I paid about $70 for mine) and >$25 for a reasonably good snorkel. Those budget sets (mask & snorkel) at dept stores like Taka, Isetan & Carrefour should cost anywhere from $40 upwards (not including the kiddy ones).

I've also seen budget sets sold by Speedo and others on sale in Jaya Jusco outlets in M'sia (eg. mid-valley mall in KL, 1 Utama in PJ etc.). Quite reasonably priced (if I'm not mistaken, around RM70) and quite nice too.
