Subject: Sun bathing in redang
Juz wanted to check if sunbathing in a bikini is allow in Redang. Will be going there soon, n hope to get a nice tan. But heard from a friend that i'll not be allow to wear a bikini on the beach, because of the state's law. Would like to have fun but not break any laws, please advise, thanks.

It's still ok. Plenty of bikini around. Even topless sunbathing is going on.
Nobody can tahan the heat in a fully covered suit there...

bikini is ok. everybody wear that. topless never seen. Just back fm there (8-11Aug2002).

Hi Cat,
Rest assured that bikinis are allowed in Redang, saw plenty of bikinis around the beach since i just came back from there (13 Aug 02 - 16 Aug 02).
