Subject: Ho-hum

I stared at the computer screen a long time, trying to think of what I am thankful for. Day after day, I leave my blinds closed, shutting out a world that is painful, unforgiving. Maybe I need to be thankful for the pain, for without it, I would not feel at all. At least I know I can still feel. In reality, the betrayal has made me more numb than anything. I think it is time to get angry. Wonder when that will happen?
