Warrior rules, and there is definately something missing from wrestling without his presence. He was amongst the best at working a crowd, he didn't need an American flag to get a cheap pop, he got it because he was pure intensity. I hate to see people put him in the same catergory as Hulk Hogan. The Warrior exceeded Hogan on every level. I remember Wrestlemania VII, Warrior vs. Randy Savage... what an AMAZING match, wow. And the feud with Undertaker was an awesome spectacle.

He did have an aura, and I would love to see him return. I think Vince McMahon wasted the Warrior. After all, with everything he achieved in the early 1990's he seemed to be the ideal choice to rule the WWF in 1996. Somehow, McMahon only deemed him good enough for the Intercontinental Title.

I think people criticise him for 30 second matches rather than hour long Bob Backlund type matches. But Warrior was as good at the 30 second victory as Backlund was with an hour. Its just different style. Backlund was that type of wrestler, and the Warrior was totally different. Maybe Warrior didn't have enough moves or 'wasn't technically gifted' enough to go for an hour. Or maybe it was Bob Backlund who 'wasn't powerful enough' and didn't have enough skill as a powerhouse to seem believable as a 30 second match winner.

He not the best ever, but he was certainly a legend. I put him in an 'Elite' list of WWWF/WWF/WWE history superstars with Bruno Sammartino, Bob Backlund, Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Steve Austin and Triple H (The only REAL legends of Wrestling)

Just to clarify somethings:

"he kicked the a** of every technically perfect wrestler". Please don't forget Bret Hart. Oh, and Shawn Michaels and Steve Austin.

"he loved the sport". Be fair here, and don't forget, he did leave in 1992 rather than work a program with a far less recognised individual (Nailz). Bret Hart didn't walk out when asked to work a program with Isaac Yankhem in 1996, or Jean Pierre Latiffe, or The Patriot. Kurt Angle didn't walk out when asked to go bald and wear a hairpiece in 2002. And The Rock didn't walk out when asked to do the job to The Hurricane in 2003. Even Triple H has done the job to a lesser superstar (Shelton Benjamin) just recently. Its not all about being booked as the winner in a huge feud, being the best is also about teamwork and helping your colleagues. Had Warrior done the job to Nailz, he probably would've been repayed with the WWF Championship at some stage in the future.

"The Ultimate Warrior is the only one I ever seen with that spirit, he got the most important thing, the most valuable thing. what real warriors in history had".
How about Steve Austin with a broken neck at Summerslam 1997? Or guys like Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle who have battled through a match despite having a concussion?

"Ultimate Warrior was the best wrestler in history, ever".
Maybe. But I think we'd have to seem down and discuss it with the Bret Hart and Dynamite Kid fanclubs, lol.

Take it easy buddy
