She hated to see her youngest going through such a hard time, as much as she didn't approve of her antics, she still loved her daughter, and the bright teenagers misery was worrying her. As were the failing relations between Seb and their youngest... it seemed they has remained tangible while all was left unsaid but since the explosion it was like treading in thin ice "Holly doesn't hate you... if she hated you she wouldn;t care if you loved her or not." Raine and Travis were not as alike to him as Holly was... which was perhaps where the problem mainly lay. "I'm sure... she's always adored you, right from the first moment she opened her eyes...
