My dog is Rotti mixed with Min.Germinsherpid she is only nine months old and expecting her first litter of puppies. I'm afraid that the puppies wont live because of her age. I tried to keep her in the house while she was in heat but she jumped out of our window and I'm not sure what breed the father is. Her name is obession. obession is patiete. She swelled up really big an now her titties hang low an leak milk so I guess I'm asking two questions one will her puppies live, an how will I know when she ready to have them? please reply. I need the help!!!!

The puppies should live, since she is so young though the pregnancy may be hard on her.When she is getting ready to have her puppies she will dig (nest) and a clear discharge may occur the day before, also you should be able to detect alot of movement from the puppies. My dog also becomes very attached to me and she tends to stare at me right before the puppies are born. hope this helps
