Well folks........i am outta here! Well Iraq anyways. Just wanted to let let you all know how much meeting you has meant to me. Where do i start? The other day i was asked what the best thing to happen to me in Iraq was - i had to think about it for a second then knew...meeting Lizzie. Baby i love you and can't wait till we are together, remember June isn't that far off!
Gotta tell you all something else - i kinda chuckled at the whole idea of chat i had never done it before (hell i had to ask what lol meant) but it has helped to keep me sane this year and at times that was difficult :)
A few nights ago we had a rocket attack here, it was the worst i have ever seen, nearly continious for 2 hours. Between running to the bunkers and checking my team, i spent it here, chatting with Little White Dove. She helped me through a terrible night, and i will never forget here for it, from the bottom of my heart thank you lil. Your friendship means more to me than you will ever know. Oh and you can have your crayon back now. :)
Then there is Zardoz, my brother in arms. Always there to listen to the stuff he knew i needed to say, but wouldn't dare say to anyone else. Thank you for your ear and understanding. And yes i do love the smell of napalm in the morning.
Bella - the reason i stayed in st longer than 5 minutes! hehe. You have always been there for me, no matter what my mood was (and i can be a moody SOB). Thank you for your friendship.
Ms. AnneB - the one who always keeps my straight. You have been a good friend to me, thank you for your concern and your ear, oh and........I guess... red?? hehe
ok ok and to all the others (you know who you are) Thank you. You may not have known it, i tried to hide it, but you all helped me through some awful days, let me escape to a better place than i am. When you are in this kind of situation - that is priceless!
The countdown is over!! Hugs to the ladies and...ah hell...hugs to some of the guys too. lol
