I've nicknamed where I live the "Edge of Hell". Only here can you stand in mud up to your knees and have the sand blow in your face. In the winter, the only thing between us and the Klondike is a barbed wire fence and 3 strands of it is down. Summer is hotter than hell and winter seems to last forever! Spring is about 24 hours long.
