Born about 7:30 pm September 28th, 7 pounds 14 ounces, 20.5 inches long, the newest lil Dom in the Great State of Texas, My grandson, Caden. My wife is so happy to be Grandma. She is absolutely living her dream now. I, on the other hand, havent seen a home-cooked meal since Sept. 27th, and the prospects for the rest of this year dont look promising. (joke)
Let's see, since last I did this:
Shoobie, My 10 year old son, is maintaining a competitive grade w/o any 504 mods in language arts. Again, consult Jodi if you need an explanation. He still struggles with spelling, but it's no longer a self-esteem issue for him. His test scores are excellent, 2nd in His school at His grade level during the last round of testing. Shoob knows who was number one, and he has a HUGE crush on HER. LOL.
The 18 year old live-in step-daughter is now the 19 year old "living on her own and ya can't tell me nuthin" stepdaughter. She is decently employed and, with the advent of a new boyfriend (God Bless him), somewhat decently clothed. My wife's daliance with dressing younger faded quickly, but she did keep the tight-fittin low-rise jeans...coolness.
Mom is still doing well. She got a new used car not too long ago (yes, I sold it to her) and she is doing a little more driving. She sees her sisters more often now. Her health is good and, God willing, she will make it comfortably into her 90's.
I haven't mentioned My 12 year old in a long time, as she hasnt been living with U/us. She is in a special school in Illinois for an emotional disorder. She has been for almost a year, and the progress was awfully slow for the first six months. W/we look forward to having her home by this summer. One or B/both of U/us go every 4 or 5 weeks to visit her.Not having her at home has easily been the most difficult thing to happen in this marriage for U/us. The sub and I celebrated O/our two year anniversary on Sept. 20th, but it was difficult to be too cheerful. W/we miss her beyond words.
On the bright side, in a few minutes, I am going to be called into the Big Boss's office to be told that I am going to get the chance to put the money where My mouth is. Being a Dominant, I am compelled to try and control and fix things that I care about. When the heck did I start caring about work??? For those of you who knew Me when... I still dream about somehow making a fortune chatting...but for now, I still have to sell automobiles.
For those who will think it amusing: Most cell phones have a profile and welcome note. Most ppl put their names on the welcome note to identify their cell phones. When My cell phone is turned on... it reads, "A Concensus of One".
As you walk along the road of your life, friends, should a blurr pass you, at full speed, a face full of determination...and humor.. that's Me, boldly chasing My Destiny.
